About

Who writes this site, and how

keyperformanceindicators.com is an independent guide to EOS® and the KPIs that run a business. Here is who is behind it, how the research gets done, how the site earns money, and what to do if something on it is wrong.

01

Who writes this

This site is written and edited by a small team rather than one named author. Pages carry no byline because the standard is the same no matter who wrote a page, and what matters is whether a claim holds up rather than who typed it. Every page shows the date it was last reviewed, so you can judge how current it is before you rely on it.

Nobody on the team is a certified implementer, and none of us sells EOS services. That distance is deliberate. It means a page can say a tool is not worth the money without weighing a client relationship against the sentence.

02

How we research a page

Most pages start with the books the system is built from, then move to EOS Worldwide's own public pages for anything we quote or restate. Costs come from implementer fee schedules and vendor pricing pages we check directly, dated so you can see when we last looked. We never copy another site's writing and we never publish a price we have not verified ourselves.

Where a number cannot be pinned down, such as how many companies actually finish a rollout, we say that plainly instead of inventing a figure that sounds precise. A range beats a false average.

The worked examples on this site are composites of situations we have seen at companies of that size, not named client engagements, and the figures in them are illustrative.

03

How we make money

We earn a small commission on some of the books we link to, and later we expect to earn referral fees from software partners and from paid listings in our implementer directory. None of it changes what a page recommends. The full breakdown of every source of income, and the rule that keeps money from buying a ranking, is on the disclosure page.

The short version of the rule: a payment can buy a label, such as Sponsored on a directory listing, and it can never buy a position, a rating or a recommendation. The disclosure page and the how listings work page spell out exactly where that line sits.

04

Corrections

If a page gets something wrong, tell us at [email protected] and say which page and what you think is off. A person reads every message and checks it against the source before changing anything. When we correct a page, we update the last-reviewed date on it so the change is visible, not quietly buried.

We would rather hear about a mistake from a reader than leave it standing because nobody flagged it. That applies just as much to a stale price as to an outdated claim about how the system works.

Write to [email protected]. Name the page and quote the line you think is wrong, and say what you think it should say if you know.

05

Our relationship with EOS Worldwide

keyperformanceindicators.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to EOS Worldwide, LLC in any way. We write about EOS because it is the system a lot of our readers are evaluating, using the same nominative fair use a book reviewer relies on to name the book. Full detail on how we use the marks and why is on the trademarks page.

If a page ever reads like it was written by the company that sells the system rather than by an outside reviewer, that is a bug. Tell us and we will fix it.

Start with a real question
