Cost
How much does EOS cost?
Running EOS® with an implementer costs about $4,500 a session at the Professional tier and about $6,600 at Expert, going by fees reported in 2026. No Certified rate is published, so we model the midpoint at $5,250. A standard first year is eight billable days, which puts year one between $36,000 and $52,800 before software and travel. Self-implementing costs under $200 in books, plus everyone's time.
01
What implementers charge per session
There is no published rate card. EOS Worldwide trains and certifies implementers but does not set their fees, so pricing comes from what implementers and clients report. The two figures we can source are about $4,500 a session for a Professional EOS Implementer® and about $6,600 for an Expert. Nobody publishes a Certified rate, so we use $5,250, our midpoint between the two.
A session is a full day with your leadership team, up to seven or eight people, and the fee covers preparation and follow-up as well as the day itself. Half-day work, board facilitation and one-off workshops are priced separately, and plenty of implementers quote a flat annual figure instead of a per-day rate.
Fees move with demand, not just tier. An implementer with a full roster in a major metro charges more than one building a practice, and the same person may quote differently for a six-person team than for a fifteen-person one.
Fees checked 26 August 2026 against figures reported by implementers and clients; the Certified rate is our midpoint, not a published price.
02
What year one adds up to
Year one is eight billable sessions: a Focus Day, two Vision Building days, three quarterly sessions and a two-day annual. At the fees above that comes to $36,000 at Professional, $42,000 at our Certified midpoint and $52,800 at Expert. The 90-minute introductory meeting is free, which is why every implementer will happily book one.
EOS Worldwide's own blog puts the first 90 days at $18,000 to $26,400. That is exactly four sessions at $4,500 and four at $6,600, so the early bills are front-loaded rather than discounted.
Two things change the total more than the tier does. Pace is the first: teams that run the Focus Day® and the two Vision Building® days close together spend the same money faster. Team size is the second, because a large leadership team often needs a longer annual session and more work between quarters.
03
The full engagement
Most implementers describe an 18 to 24 month arc before a team runs the system without help. Session count drops after year one, from eight days to six and then to five, so the bill falls each year. The reported range for a two-year engagement is $18,000 to $50,000 a year; year one runs higher, year two lower, and an Expert implementer can land above it.
The drop is the point. You are paying for someone to make the tools stick, not for a permanent facilitator, and an implementer who cannot describe how the engagement winds down is worth a second look.
04
Self-implementing: the real cost
The cash cost of self-implementing is small: under $200 for the books, and $0 to about $11 per user a month for the software with published prices. The real bill is time. A leadership team running the system properly gives up about 90 minutes a week for the Level 10 Meeting™, plus a day a quarter and two days a year for planning.
That time is not optional in a paid engagement either. Hiring an implementer buys you a neutral person who will say the uncomfortable thing, keep the annual session on the agenda, and stop the same issue from being deferred four quarters running.
Self-implementing fails on commitment rather than knowledge. The books explain the tools clearly enough. What goes missing is the meeting that stays booked in a busy quarter and the person willing to tell the founder that a Rock did not get done.

Build your own estimate
Set the tier, how many years you are budgeting for, the size of your leadership team, whether you want software and whether your implementer travels. The calculator uses 2026 fees, our Certified midpoint and the standard session count for each year, then hands you a budget band you can put in front of an implementer.
Only the people in the room, not headcount.

Reported figures, 2026; your implementer sets their own fee. Sessions: 8 in year one, 6 in year two, 5 in year three. The free 90-minute intro meeting is not billed, and the two-day annual counts as two days. Based on year one at $42,000, we’ll look for implementers in the $25,000 to $50,000 a year range.

Is it worth it?
Decide in advance what you will measure, then check at quarter two. Three numbers tell you most of it: the average meeting rating your team gives at the end of each week, the percentage of Rocks finished on time, and revenue against the plan you wrote in the annual session. Two quarters of movement is a fair test.
Be careful with case studies. The growth figures published by vendors and implementers are self-reported and not audited, and companies that hire an implementer are already the kind of companies that invest in getting better. Treat them as marketing, and judge the engagement on your own numbers.
