Company Rocks
Company Rocks are the three to seven priorities the whole business commits to for the next ninety days, agreed before anybody sets a personal one. Individual Rocks come afterwards and are meant to move the company list forward. A personal Rock that supports nothing on that list is usually work that could wait.

How EOS® uses Company Rocks
They are set at the quarterly session, after the team has reviewed the last ninety days and reread the one-year plan. Each gets a single owner from the leadership team even when four departments are involved, because a Rock with two owners has none. They are reported on track or off track every week at the Level 10 Meeting™.
The gap between an annual plan and a busy Tuesday is where most strategy dies. Ninety days is short enough that a team can hold the list in its head and long enough to finish something real. Capping the list at seven is what makes the quarterly session an argument worth having rather than a rubber stamp.
Worked example: A forty-person software company set five: ship the reporting module, cut support response under four hours, hire a second account manager, close the year-end audit, and move two clients off the legacy plan. The audit was the one nobody wanted. It got the finance lead's name and a date, and it was finished in week ten.

031-Year Plan
The 1-Year Plan is the coming twelve months written as a date, revenue and profit numbers, a few measurables and three to seven goals to finish.
04KPIs and EOS: build a Scorecard that predicts results
Where KPIs fit inside EOS: the weekly Scorecard, 5 to 15 measurables, one owner each, and a simple picker to draft yours by industry in a few minutes.
Start with a real question
Not sure which of these you actually need?
Tell us what the leadership team is arguing about. A person replies within one business day with a straight answer, whether that is a book, a tool or an implementer.
A person reads every one.
