Level 10 Meeting™

The Level 10 Meeting is a ninety-minute weekly leadership meeting that runs the same agenda every week and ends on the hour. The order is fixed: good news, the Scorecard, Rocks, headlines, last week's to-dos, then an hour spent solving issues. Same day, same time, finished list or not.

How EOS® uses the Level 10 Meeting

The meeting is where the rest of the system gets checked. Numbers come off the Scorecard, Rocks are reported on track or off track, and anything that misses lands on the Issues List for the solving segment. The team rates the meeting out of ten at the end, which is where the name comes from: the target is a straight ten.

A fixed agenda ends the weekly argument about what the meeting is for. Reporting takes twenty minutes because nobody re-explains a number everyone has already read, which leaves an hour for the two or three problems that actually decide the quarter. Teams that drop the format tend to drift back to status updates within a month.

Worked example: A manufacturer meets Tuesdays at eight. Five minutes of good news, five on the Scorecard, five on Rocks, five on customer and employee headlines, five on last week's to-dos, then sixty minutes on three issues: a late supplier, a quality complaint, and one open role. Two get solved in the room, the third becomes a to-do.
