Meeting Pulse
The Meeting Pulse is the fixed rhythm of meetings EOS® asks a company to keep: the same weekly leadership meeting, a full day each quarter, two days a year. Departments run the same weekly format underneath. The word pulse is doing real work, because what matters is that the beat does not move.
01
How EOS uses the Meeting Pulse
The weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is the base of it, on the same day at the same time whether or not there is much to discuss. Quarterly sessions reset the Rocks and the annual resets the plan. EOS is unusually strict about the calendar here, since a rhythm that moves for a busy week has stopped being a rhythm.
Companies tend to have more meetings than they can justify and fewer that anybody prepares for. Fixing the beat means the leadership team stops calling meetings for things that could have waited until Wednesday, which saves more time than shortening any individual meeting ever does.
Worked example: A wholesaler counted its recurring leadership meetings before starting: a Monday operations call, a Thursday sales meeting, a monthly management meeting, and whatever the owner called during the week. Two of those went, one became the weekly meeting, and the calendar gave back about four hours a week to each of the seven leaders.

Not sure which of these you actually need?
